Calling all would-be actors, happy extras, or just plain lovers of your local music scene. If you’re not camera shy, you’ve got an opportunity to immerse yourself in the Miami music scene this Thursday … Literally.
Local singer-songwriter Vito has recorded a track called “The Wave,” and will be preserving it for posterity in that medium best known for having 187-ed the radio star. That’s right, he’s going to be shooting a music video for the song, and you’re invited to come partake of the fun.
The video shoot will take place in Virginia Key and at that most hallowed of Sunday afternoon boozing establishments, Jimbo’s. The shot will begin at noon and run to 9 p.m., and anyone wanting to join in is encouraged to show up whenever they can. But be forewarned, the invite says to “come ready to jump in the water.” Beach attire is recommended, though we suppose they can always blur you out if you wanna go skinny dipping.
Oh, and there will be food and drinks. Sounds more like a party than a video shoot.
