These are just a few of the lyrics running through Crazy P Soundsystem‘s tales of unrequited love, romantic dysfunction, and estrangement.
Sometimes the subject matter is even darker, like on 2005’s “Lady T,”

No, these ain’t no silly love songs. But they are most
definitely killer dance songs, set to the infectious disco hooks and funky
basslines of Crazy P co-founders James Barron and Chris Todd.
Add the sultry vocals and rambunctious stage antics of chanteuse Danielle Moore to the package, and the Crazy P Soundsystem is decidedly one of the international house music scene’s most refreshingly bold acts.
If you missed Crazy P’s various unforgettable performances
during WMC week, you will not want to sleep on the group’s headlining gig at the Electric Pickle‘s War Huge Artwalk Afterparty on September 8.
