As predictable as death and taxes, the Dave Matthews Band returns to the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach this summer for another two-night stand. The tour will support the band’s still-untitled forthcoming studio album, due out June 2. Local dates are on August 14 and 15, and the opening act here is Robert Earl Keen.
As always, scoring tickets is a complex process: An “online ticket request period” begins Thursday, February 19 and continues through March 2 on the band’s Warehouse fan club site — which, of course, you have to pay to join. Still, hardcore fans are probably already members, and the rest of the general public can try to buy on Mar. 12 when the tickets “officially” go on sale. Just remember, the Cruzan Amphitheatre now uses LiveNation ticketing exclusively.
