A co-founder of Brazilian group Bossacucanova, Marcelinho da Lua is on tour to promote his first solo record, Tranquilo, and his group’s third and latest release, Uma Batida Diferente (A Different Beat), a mellifluent mix of samba and bossa rhythms with electronica, accompanied by the delicate and gentle cooing of Cris Delanno and renowned guitarist and composer Roberto Menescal.
