Even if nobody’s exactly sure how to pronounce this Parisian threesome’s name, the consensus among international fans is that a dOP show is not to be missed.
Producers Damian Van de Sande, Clement Zemstov, and MC-vocalist Jonathan Illel have taken the underground EDM scene by storm over the last couple years with a maverick yet fun-loving approach to dance music.
It helps that they’ve put out a barrage of chart-toppers on esteemed labels like Get Physical, Circus Company, and Supplement Facts. And that they boast a one-of-a-kind sleaze-tastic mish-mash of house, techno, jazz, cabaret, and miscellaneous world influences.
But in this age of predictable DJ sets, what really sets Van de Sande, Zemstov, and Illel apart are their live performances — full-blown ecstatic bachannalia where the barrier between performers and spectators blurs in a sweaty, debauched party frenzy.
