Welcome to Dreamville.
As J. Cole says, “Miami. The Warm Up. $1.”
Of course, he’s talking about the 2014 run of his Dollar & A Dream tour — a string of semi-secret shows in six cities across two continents.
It only costs a dollar. It features a “special commemorative performance of The Warm Up in its entirety” to celebrate his breakthrough album’s fifth anniversary. And it’s finally coming to the 305.

Throughout the tour, Cole is keeping the location of each Dollar & A Dream stop a secret till the day of the show.
On July 3, the North Carolina rapper brought the Dream to London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. And then two days ago, he snatched up the mic and spit some $1 stardust for a capacity crowd at New York City’s Highline Ballroom.
And tonight, Cole will roll through downtown Miami’s Grand Central.
Now, getting in the door is a matter of “first come, first serve,” according to Dollar & A Dream tour reps.
So hustle down to 697 N. Miami Avenue, because the streets tell Crossfade that a mob of several hundred people is already lining up ’round the block.
