Get Ready

Less than an hour ago, the organizers of Langerado Music Festival just announced their line-up for 2008, and let me be the first to say, it’s killer. Don’t expect a good festival like last year…expect a great one. I don’t want to write it all out, but check out the three-day line-up here and get ready to smile.

There is one major difference between this year and former Langerados and that’s location. You’ll need a tent and a sleeping bag this time around, and some bugspray…possibly even a machete.

$30,000

Langerado is moving from ‘way the fuck out west’ at Markham Park in Sunrise to the Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades. Despite the extended trek (don’t think you’re doing it everyday people, really, buy a tent) it’s good that Langerado is expanding organically as this line-up feels like a welcomed improvement with something for everyone. — Jonathan Cunningham
