It used to be that half the fun of Le Baron’s pop-up nightclub during Art Basel Miami Beach was figuring out where it would be taking place. But the Parisian party spot isn’t even trying anymore, as it plops down at the Delano’s Florida Room for a third year in a row.

Graffiti artist André Saraiva is behind the concept for Le Baron, which in addition to the French location, also has an outpost in Tokyo. The nightclub has a habit of showing up to big cultural events around the globe like Art Basel in Switzerland and Venice Biennale.

However, according to the New York Times, the concept started in 2005 when Le Baron hooked up with then-Art Basel Miami Beach director Sam Keller to start a series of post-fair parties at the karaoke club, Studio, in the basement of the Shelborne. After that, it’s moved to places like Rokbar and Florida Room.

But celebrity and art world cameos aside, the club is best known for its exclusivity. It’s the Studio 54 of the art world set.
