Even good times and irie vibes require some prep.
So for next week’s Miami Reggae Festival at Coconut Grove’s Peacock Park, you just can’t forget to pack these three things.
1. Two non-perishable food items, which (before 3 p.m.) can be traded for free admission to the fest.
2. One windproof butane lighter for the lighting of, umm, incense in any weather, windy or rainy or whatever.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
3. A laminated copy of the party plan in order to remain fully aware of what’s next, mon, even after you’ve torched a lil’ too much of that, umm, incense.
