Two-thirds of Miike Snow is responsible for producing some of the biggest pop hits of the last decade. Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg, also known as Bloodshy & Avant, are responsible for giving mega-hits to Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Jordin Sparks, Kylie Minogue, Kelis, and Madonna. But along with Andrew Wyatt, they formed the band Miike Snow, which has given us the best drunk hipster sing-a-long since Matt & Kim’s “Yea Yeah.”
That track is called “Animal,” which thanks to the magic fingers of Treasure Fingers, it has also become a dance floor staple.
The guys are currently touring the U.S., but Miami isn’t on the tour’s radar. However, we will be blessed with a consolation prize in the form of a DJ set June 11 at Mokai (235 23rd Street, Miami Beach). At this point it’s unclear whether Mokai is actually going to sell tickets or if it’s going to be up to the doorman on who actually gets in (we bet on the latter), but might just be worth the hassle.
After the jump, Miike Snow’s own mega-hit “Animal” along with the Treasure Fingers remix.
