People, get ready.
For the past 20 years, Miami’s most reggaefied folks have gathered to praise Jah, sing along, smoke some herb, do good, and spread love.
And in just five weeks, the Nine Mile Music Festival (formerly known as Marley Fest) will march into the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds for its 21st-annual get-together in livication to the memory and legacy of Bob “Tuff Gong” Marley.
As usual, the fest will be headlined by Marleys: Stephen “Ragga,” Damian “Jr. Gong,” and Julian “Juju.” But sharing top billing, there will also be a mother of many Marleys, Ms. Lauryn Hill, who’s got five kids with Bob’s son Rohan.
