Que Bajo, mi gente?!
No, we’re not speaking Spanish drunk with a mouth full of cotton balls. We just wanted to let you know about a killer party going down tonight at Transit Lounge.
Que Bajo? is absolutely legendary on New York’s party scene. Featuring Afro sounds, cumbia, reggae, dancehall, electro, and much more, it’s the perfect melting pot party. And where better to bring it on the road, than our very own melting pot here in Miami?
At least we’re going to give Jack Daniel’s the benefit of the doubt and assume that’s what they were thinking. But really, this shindig is part of their ongoing, always excellent Studio No. 7 tour series. And tonight’s festivities are sure to be traditional Transit debauchery, only with the decibels cranked up.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Consider the lineup: Lanzallamas Monofonica is going to be throwing down their signature, world fusion descargas. Plus, special guest DJ Le Spam joins Lanzas, as the band celebrates its digital EP release. And then, as if this fiesta needed any more musical muscle, Mr. Pauer joins resident Que Bajo? DJs Uproot Andy and Geko Jones on the ones and twos.
Que Bajo? Friday, February 18. Transit Lounge, 729 SW 1 Ave., Miami. The party starts at 10 p.m. and there’s no cover. Ages 21 and up. Call 305-377-4628 or visit transitlounge.us.
