This blog posting was actually written from inside a dark-green Coleman tent that’s perched on the sidewalk outside Radio-Active Records (1930B E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). Although the store is technically open right now, we predict a Bonnaroo-level event in the parking lot in anticipation for Saturday’s 10 a.m. launch.
In addition to the massive shipment of CD and vinyl rarities for purchase, the day includes in-store live performances, DJ sets, BBQ, and cupcakes that you’d be stealing if they weren’t already giving them away.
And, an After Party at Brew Downtown.
Find out set times for the Axe & the Oak, Gray Girls, the Shakers, and Sloane Peterson, as well as the rest of the day’s deets, jump with us!
