We already broke the news that British duo Simian Mobile Disco will be performing live at Ultra Music Festival Saturday, March 26. But before that, the duo will be hosting a party, dubbed Delicatessen, where attendees can expect a DJ set.
Our first reaction is that Eve may be too small for them. Last time we saw Simian Mobile Disco (New Year’s Eve 2010 at the Shore Club aside), the pair played Studio A during WMC 2008. The place was packed from wall-to-wall and featured a crazy Daft Punk-esque light show. Though, that was a live performance, the Eve show is being advertised as a DJ set — anything more and we’re sure Ultra’s lawyers wouldn’t allow it.
Still, DJ set or otherwise, expect this to be a packed event with tickets going fast. Others on the bill include Radio Slave as well as JDH and Dave P of Fixed NYC. More acts are expected to be announced. No word yet about where to purchase tickets or price.
But wait, there’s more! Get a taste of the duo’s new record, Delicacies, with a free download of Mixed Delicacies, a live mix of all eight album tracks. The catch: You only have until noon tomorrow to download via SoundCloud. After that, the album is only available as a stream.

If you haven’t heard Delicacies, it definitely the duo’s sleeper album. Less hook and melody-driven than past offerings, it is pure techno that has them shedding their electro-house past.
