SET Miami Closing For Renovations, Returning in March

A fully equipped venue with a terrace, liquor license, Funktion-One sound system, fancy lighting, and new bars are some of the features that give this 17,250-square-foot lot such a heavy price tag.

The sale announcement came in an email from Gerry Kelly, president of GK Marketing and Event Planning.

“Turnkey business on Lincoln Road for sale,” Kelly wrote. “Fully equipped restaurant/club/lounge with terrace cafe. W Liquor License; completely newly built out with Function One Sound system, intelligent lighting, POS & Reservation system, new bars and state of the art kitchen, with multiple on site office spaces. Price: $1,875,000.”

Although the former Vice Lounge is kinda pricey, given the location of the venue (next door to SET Nightclub) and its features, Kelly says it has potential. “It’s a great location. The appeal is really good. They put a lot of money out there. It will make a great restaurant-slash-cafe-slash-lounge-slash-nightclub.”

And timing couldn’t be any better. SET is currently closed for renovations, which means that once the posh lounge reopens, hundreds of party-goers will wait in line to see what the renovated spot has to offer and will cross paths with what can be the newest spot on the strip.
