Beetoo Pierre, a 17-year-old, has been arrested for the murder of Kenson “Short Kidd” Pierre, a 21-year-old up-and-coming rapper, and Justin McAdam, a 31-year-old Navy veteran turned photographer and videographer.
The incident happened back on June 18 in front of Kenson Pierre’s home at 1130 NE 133rd Street in North Miami. Pierre had gone outside to meet McAdam to discuss a video the pair planned to work on when shots rang out.
The two were viewing their latest project on a laptop when Beetoo Pierre opened fire. Many members of Kenson’s family were inside while the murders happened.
Beetoo Pierre now faces two charges of first degree murder as well as charge of attempted murder.

Police have yet to release a motive for the attack.
