Police have connected 22-year-old Alexander Tyler to the murder of a homeless man.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was in his late 40s. According to NBC Miami, he was believed to have lived under the 836 bridge, and came to a Little Havana laundromat once a month to despot his Social Security check into an ATM.
His body was found at 7 a.m. on Friday morning outside of the laundromat.
CBS Miami reports that police found blood on Tyler’s shorts and inside of a backpack that was found in his room.

Surveillance video of Tyler and the victim was also uncovered. Though, not motive has yet been established. Nor have police confirmed exactly how the victim died.
Tyler was charged with first degree murder and is being held without bond.
