What is the deal with all this baby-related violence down in Homestead lately? Now a women is behind bars after she tried to snatch a one-month-old from its mother outside a medical center.
Twenty-five-year-old Shalese Nicole Mostiller is behind bars after attempting to abduct the child. She sprayed an unknown substance in the mother’s eyes, temporarily blinding her, and after a struggle took off running with the child. Luckily a witness took off after Mostiller and called police.
The baby suffered injuries to its back and arms, and was taken to Miami Children’s Hospital. [CBS4]
- Ana Lopez, the 22-year-old mother who is accused of beating her 7-month-old son, appeared in court yesterday. Her blood alcohol level was found to be over twice the legal limit. [WSVN]
- Four Miami-Dade schools, including Felix Varela Senior High School, Christina M. Eve Elementary School, Sunset Senior High School and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School, received e-mailed bomb threats yesterday.
