Ever since Tiger Woods shot a videogame commercial with Miami’s backyard fight king Dhafir Harris, AKA Dada 5000, the planet’s most famous professional golfer is winning again and back on top of the world rankings. Coincidence? We think not. Because all Dada 5000 does is win, win, win, baby.

About a month ago, the Perrine Spartan and Woods joined Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino, two other golfing legends, to shoot the ad for EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA 13 XBox videogame. Titled the “Rumble,” the ad depicts Woods, Palmer, and Trevino taking out a gang of bad guys who want to steal their golf trophies. Trevino gets the best of Harris with some sweet combos to the legs.

“I got the chance to speak to all three of them on a personal level,” Harris says. “We hit it off. They were like, ‘Wow, this guy is really sharp.'”

He recounted how he became the face of extreme reality backyard fighting in the past five years for the golfers, Harris relays. “They were intrigued by how I attracted all this attention with no marketing or financial backing,” Kimbo Slice’s former student says. “I also had a nice conversation with Tiger about what drives him. He told me he just loves competing and winning.”

Harris got the gig through his business associate, Corrado Bruzzo, who was contacted by a casting agent who had seen photos and videos of Dada 5000 on his Facebook page. “They told Corrado, ‘We want Dada,”’ Harris says. “It was a great experience.”

After the shoot wrapped, the King invited him to attend the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando this past weekend, where Woods regained the number-one ranking. He got to watch the action from one of the suites in the Bay Hill Club & Lodge. “It was crazy,” Harris says. “A lot of people knew who I was.”
