A man claiming he had a “way with the ladies” and a firm grasp on the Florida legal system probably didn’t have either, and ended up getting arrested a popular waterside restaurant in Fort Pierce after causing a scene and riling up his “haters.”
Robert Rock, 50, was acting obnoxious to women, several of whom asked to be left alone, at Cobb’s Landing on July 27.
According to Off The Beat, a man came to pick up his wife from baby shower to find that Rock was bother her. He asked Rock to leave his wife and the other women alone, but Rock allegedly pulled a knife and yelled, “I’m from Jersey, I’ll kill your ass.”
The restaurant’s manager got involved and escorted Rock out of the establishment. The manager then called police. They found him at another nearby bar called the Tiki Bar. In his arrest report the officer noted that he had immediately recognized Rock from a previous call.

Officer found the knife in his pocket and promptly arrested him.

He then began saying he didn’t do anything wrong, the people who were complaining on him were just haters because he had a way with the ladies and they should be arrested, not him. Then he stated he would use the Zimmerman defense because he was streetwise and he knew how to work the system.
Unfortunately for the “streetwise” ladies man, his version of events were not backed up by anyone at the restaurant. Witnesses said he was just being obnoxious and everyone wanted him to leave them alone. Rock was booked on charges of aggravated assault.
