Paul Eggers Greene, an 18-year-old from Charlotte County, ended 2012 in an unholy manner. Clad in just shorts and socks, he started yelling in a middle of a street that he was Jesus and then bit a deputy who intervened.

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the scene just before 4:30 a.m. on December 31. (Note to teens: save the insanity for actual New Year’s Eve. At least finish the year off as a free man. You had less than 20 hours to go, man.) They arrived to find a shirtless Greene jumping up and down and waving his arms in the middle of a street. He was also yelling that he was Jesus and was afraid everyone was coming to get him.
According to WINK, Greene then ran at a deputy. He was told to stop. And did. For a bit anyway. He then made another run at the deputy and the officer pulled out his Taser. Greene fell to the ground as he was shocked. However, he continued flailing around and then bit a deputy on a leg. He was once again Tased until he released his bite.

After a continued struggled, he was finally cuffed and taken to a hospital, but ended up having to be handcuffed to the hospital bed because he wouldn’t settle down. Afterward, he was taken to jail where he remained through New Year’s.
“Deputies believed he was under the influence of some type of drug due while exhibiting an excited delirium type of behavior,” reports WINK.
