Florida’s unemployment level has once again fallen. Unemployment for the state was down to 7.5 percent this month, the lowest level since October 2008. Florida once again remains below the national level.

The news isn’t quite so rosy for Miami-Dade’s numbers, though.

February’s level was at 7.8 percent, the first time in recent memory when Florida’s unemployment level dipped below the national level. The national level for for march was 7.6 percent, one point lower than Florida’s.

However, Miami-Dade county’s unemployment rate still remains high. It sits at 9.2, one of the highest levels in the state. It fell from 9.5 in February. Though, that’s actually 0.1 percent higher than it was in March 2012.
