In Miami-Dade, we have drive-by shooting. In the Florida Keys, things are a little different. They have drive-by, blow-gun shootings.
The victim in the incident was with his wife in a parking lot of a Circle K on Wednesday around 11 p.m. All the sudden he felt a sharp pang in his right side. He’d been shot … by a dart.
The man then noticed a green sedan hightailing it out of the parking lot, and called police. While police were searching for the vehicle, the victim was transported to the hospital out of concern for any substance that may have been on the dart. He was later released.
At 3 a.m. the next morning a deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description on Big Pine Key and promptly pulled it over. Several people were in the car, and the deputy quickly found the weapon: a PVC pipe.

Eighteen-year-old Michael Brabham of Marathon admitted to the malicious blow gun job, and was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
