Is LeBron James’ image rehabilitation complete? After claiming the MVP award and his first ring last season, the King is back atop the NBA’s list of best-selling jerseys. The list is released twice a year, and James hasn’t been on top since April 2011. In fact, he had dropped to fifth in the list released after the 2011 Finals.
It’s the third time that James has made the list. Kobe Bryant has only topped the list more at six times (though, it’s only been compiled since 2001).
Dwyane Wade, meanwhile, came it at second. Chris Bosh didn’t make the 15 spot list, and Ray Allen, who had made the list in May with his Celtics jersey, fell out of the rankings.
Overall, the Heat sold the second most jerseys of any team, only behind the New York Knicks.
