Was there really any doubt?
ESPN reports that league sources confirm Miami Heat superstar LeBron James will officially be awarded his fourth MVP title this Sunday. It’s the King’s second MVP crown in a row, and his fourth in five years.
With the award, LeBron joins a group of only four other players who achieved the feet of racking up four MVP awards: Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain. James will be the youngest player to achieve the feat.
James will be honored with an Award ceremony by the Heat on Sunday, and NBA commish David Stern will fly down to present the award to James before the start of the first game in the Heat’s second round playoff series.

Of course, while James manages to close the deficit between the number of MVP titles he’s won with Michael Jordan (Jordan has five), he still has a long way to go until he tightens the rings deficit.
