The Miami-Dade Police Department has arrested one of their own for allegedly molesting numerous young women while on the job. 24-year-old officer Juan Carlos Rodriguez was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation stemming form an incident in which he fondled two teenage girls during a traffic stop in West Kendall, but investigators believe more young women may have been abused.
According to The Herald, Rodriguez was charged late last night two counts of of lewd and lascivious molestation and appeared in court today.
Rodriguez had been on the force for about four year, and worked out of the Hammock district station.
On January 11 around 10:30 p.m, Rodriguez is believed to have pulled over a car in Southwest 88th Street and 157th Avenue. Using the authority of his badge he subjected two teenage girls who were merely passengers in the car to a lewd pat down behind a nearby CVS.

“His `searches’ of these young women were not done in accord with police protocol, and served no legitimate police purposes,” wrote Miami-Dade Detective Ricardo Landrian in the arrest warrant.
The Detective believes Rodriguez may have assaulted numerous other young woman in a similar manner.
