The University of Miami may not be hosting a presidential debate like it did in 2004, but both candidates will be gracing the Coral Gables campus later this month within a day of each other.
The dueling duo will be taping separate specials for Univision at the University’s BankUnited Center fieldhouse. Obama will be appearing on September 19, with Romney coming the very next day on September 20.
The broadcasts will be titled, “El Gran Encuentro con el Gobernador Mitt Romney” and “El Gran Encuentro con el Presidente Barack Obama.”
All questions will be asked in Spanish, but the candidates will reply in English.

And, no, sorry, you probably won’t be getting tickets unless you’re a UM student. College Democrats will get first crack at tickets for the Obama special, while College Republicans get the same treatment for Romney.
The rest of the tickets will be doled out to UM students via a lottery system.
