The sky was falling on local hipsters the weekend, as The Vagabond was shut down by the fire department after an acoustic ceiling panel fell on a patron. Don’t worry, I hear she’s is doing fine. But Vagabond’s closure didn’t help an already lackluster weekend. Still, there were some hidden gems out there if you knew where to look.

People gathered at Edificio Jose Marti, located basically where Brickell meets Little Havana, to wish her happy birthday. Blowfly, Clarence Reid, Otto Von Schirach, Chongalicious Girls and more keep the crowds entertained during the celebration.
Black Sunday at Bella Rose

Bella Rose, a venue owned by Cocaine Cowboys producer Alfred Spellman and Keith Paciello, plays host to a local favorite called Black Sunday. Local scenester Alexis Mincolla welcomes South Beach’s party zombies to pull up the strength to party one more night.
