Much like a gossip blog, the Miami Hurricanes have been chugging along with scandals, crime and epic fails for the past few years, so head coach Al Golden pretty much hit it on the head when he said, “It’s been TMZ since I’ve been here.”


“I mean, let’s be honest? It’s been tough,” he continued while talking to the Palm Beach Post.

Sounds like the dude is a bit fed up about having to watch, like, the latest exploits of drunk celebrities and would just like to watch some damned nature documentaries on PBS or something.

“I’m looking forward to the day when we’re focused on our opponents and not talking about all that,” Golden said. “For two weeks now that’s all we’ve been talking about — we’re in the (ACC’s Coastal Division race) and this is what we need to focus on.”
