Last night’s sloppy game between the San Francisco Giants and the Miami Marlins saw pitching so bad the score ended up in NFL territory. Naturally, the Marlins ended up as the sloppiest team on the field and lost the game 14-7. They also almost lost Logan Morrison’s pretty little face too. Giancarlo Stanton accidentally flung a ball toward the left fielder’s face, which caused Morrison to have to pull out some “Matrix Revelation” style moves to dodge it.
Of course, LoMo, the team’s “Tweeter in Chief,” laughed about it on Twitter (just a little while after quoting lyrics from your favorite Canadian pop song).
At least someone had something to laugh about last night. Ozzie Guillen says the game was the worst the team had played all year. Don’t worry, Guillen. No one in Miami was paying attention to your team last night.
