This is almost too much to believe. Just months after news broke that Vince Shlomi, better known as the ShamWow guy, got into a tongue-biting fight with a hooker he met at Louis, comes a report that he was involved in the crash that shut down traffic on the MacArthur Causeway.
An unnamed suspect hijacked a taxi on Alton Road last night, then took off heading west on the eastbound lanes of the MacArthur. The man crashed into another car, began shooting at police, until police shot him. The suspect later died.
Now, Random Pixels, the blog run by photojournalist Bill Cooke, is reporting that police sources say that Vince Shlomi was in the car that got hit. He’s reportedly recovering at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Update: Random Pixels says that Shlomi was actually involved in another, unrelated traffic incident. Still though, this guys luck in Miami Beach is not so good.
