I haven’t yet been to Cantina 71 Restaurant (216 71st Street, Miami Beach). If you haven’t been either, tonight (Tuesday, August 4th) might be the perfect time to try it out: A four-course dinner matched with eight wine tastings in all — for $30 (plus, as always, tax/tip). The starting lineup:
First Course: Bruschetta Caprese with Duca d’Amalfi (crisp white) and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
Second Course: Octopus Carpaccio with Ponticello (sweet rosé) and Piemonte Barbera.
Third Course: Tagliatelle Bolognese with Sartirano Nebbiolo d’Alba and Chianti Colli Senesi Piccolomini.
