And why not? Miami-Dade government is about as stable as a Sagdiyev family reunion. I have to thank an anonymous commenter over at eyeonmiami for the headline. It was in response to a post about Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez endorsing Natacha Seijas for reelection, nearly two years after Carlito and Naty went toe-to-toe over the strong mayor referendum. He was for it. She was against it. Now they’re compatriots. Whatever was left of Alvarez’s honesty and integrity just got flushed down the toilet of the men’s bathroom on the 29th floor of the Stephen P. Clark Center.
