Fight AIDS by going out to eat tonight at any of over 20 Miami-Dade restaurants including 8 Oz. Burger Bar, The Café at Books & Books, Chef Allen’s, Hakkasan, and miniBAR. They’ll each be donating a portion of their proceeds for the evening to Care Resource, a South Florida non-profit community based AIDS service organization. This is part of a national campaign in cities all over the U.S. All you have to do to contribute to help and care is go out to eat at a participating restaurant.
Did you know Miami-Dade is the number-one most AIDS infected metropolitan area in the nation? Ft. Lauderdale is the runner up. There are an estimated 40,000 currently living with the disease in Dade and Broward alone.
Make a donation through the website or at a participating restaurant and you may win prizes including a Viceroy Lifestyle Package, champagne and caviar, a South Beach getaway, or shopping and dinner.
