Like Erykah Badu sings: “Bring it over here and let’s go back, way back.”

The “On & On” and “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)” songstress is the latest headliner added to Miami’s most mature ‘n’ sexy music fest, Jazz in the Gardens.

She represents a classic time in R&B and hip-hop, the ’90s, when rhymes and beats and vibes weren’t faked. Just like Run-D.M.C., the quintessential mainstream ’80s rap crew, who repped fun and realness through the golden era.

Badu, Joseph “Run” Simmons, and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels will be joining previously revealed headliners Toni Braxton, R. Kelly, and Maxwell at this year’s fest.
