Musical Missionary has a pretty spectacular double-booking lined up at undergound EDM haven Black Sheep Bar this Friday night. The critically-acclaimed native Floridian DJ/producer Chris Fortier will be throwing down his singular brand of minimal techno with dark progressive underpinnings. Fortier has had an illustrious DJ career since the early ’90s, spinning alongside the likes of David Seaman at Twilo in NYC, and also released a bestselling remix of Delerium’s “Silence” featuring Sarah McLachlan in 1998. Spinning in support of Fortier, is Maetrik, another cutting-edge veteran DJ and Mothership label producer whose eclectic forays into electro and techno should get the booties shaking.
