I can’t help feeling like the Miami Herald got it wrong when it gave this story on South Floridians who refuse to give up their love of SUVs and trucks despite the sharp increase in gas prices the following headline: “Gas prices can’t extinguish their love of SUVs.”
Okay, I guess. But here are some I think are way more appropriate:
