So you like to drive like Mario Andretti. But despite your best efforts, you can’t push that four-cylinder Prius into the triple digits. No worries. Imagine Motorsports is offering the rare chance to harness some otherworldly horsepower this Friday — at a price affordable to mere mortals. Drivers at the Super Car Race Track Event at Homestead-Miami Speedway (1 Speedway Blvd., Homestead) can get behind the wheel of a Lamborghini or Ferrari. Models include the LP 560, LP 550, F430, and 599. The less adventuresome (and those under 21) can score a ride-along with a driving pro. Is there a speed limit, you ask? Hell, no. The cars can go as fast as the driver and the track will allow. Feel free to let your inner speed demon loose, if only for two laps at 2.25 miles each. So slip on those driving gloves and get ready to rock your best Ricky Bobby impression. “If you’re not first, you’re last,” after all. The day session runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $149. The night session lasts from 6 to 10 p.m. and costs $199. Mandatory track insurance (trust us — you’ll want it if you wreck that Lambo) costs $49 to $99. And if you want to give your teenage offspring the thrill of their young lives, kids 13 and older can ride along for $79. For tickets, visit imaginelifestyles.com/ultimate-driving-experience.
