Local 10 is reporting that former restaurateur-turned-realtor Jonathan Eismann has been involved in a fatal hit and run accident in Miami.
The accident occurred around 8:47 a.m. Wednesday, on the corner of NW Third Street and 72nd Avenue.
Eismann was driving a Ford Explorer and was involved in a crash with a Nissan Sentra.
While driving from the scene of the crash, Eismann lost control of his vehicle and hit pedestrian Juan Carlos Ruiz two blocks away. Ruiz was pronounced dead on the scene by authorities. The owner of the Nissan was unharmed.

Police say charges against Eismann are pending. Short Order will bring you more information as we receive it.

one time, Eismann was cultivating a small Miami restaurant empire, his
name involved with as many as five restaurants (Spartico, Pizza Volante,
Fin, Q,
and Pacific Time). Most recently, the CIA graduate has been with The
Chariff Realty Group as a sales associate.
