Well, LeBron James has answered at least one of these questions. He claims professional wrestling Ric Flair is the forefather of the swaggy movement.
See, while Dwyane Wade was busy kicking people in the nuts last night during the Miami-Charlotte game, Flair sat in the audience. He lives in Charlotte and is a local legend. Like the Hornet before them, Bobcats fans have adopted Flair’s “Woooo!” calling as their own.
After the game, Flair paid a visit to the Heat’s locker room, and James was in awe.

“I mean, when I was a kid, I loved wrestling,” James said. “He was one of the guys I loved, too.
“I think he’s probably one of the creators of what we call swag these days, with the Rolexes and the stretch limos, and all the girls and all that stuff.
“He’s like the creator of swag, Ric Flair definitely kept me watching TV.”
