Well, you’ve finally done it Florida. You’ve beaten the Marlins into submission. The team with the worst attendance in the major leagues has given up: They have closed the upper deck of its stadium for the rest of the season, an inconvenience to the three people that ever sat up there and just another depressing bullet point for everyone else.

The upper decks were closed on weeknights anyway, reports The Miami Herald, but now Marlins staffers will be absent from the third deck for weekend games too. You can still buy tickets closer to the field for less than $8, and the Fish rallied back from a historically bad June to win five in a row going into the all-star break. Come on guys. It’s fun.
