Melissa McCarthy’s second time hosting Saturday Night Live proved what we always knew: She is one extremely talented and fearless comedian.
McCarthy is never better than when she goes for broke. And she did on SNL this past weekend, dancing to Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It” for a ham bake-off, eating day-old pizza, and throwing toasters. Because most of her skits revolved around food, we decided to take a trip through the celebrity SNL vault and run down the food-related skits that have made us snort. Here are our favorites:
Pizza Business
Melissa McCarthy plays Barb Kelner, who wants a small-business loan for her pizza enterprise. Thing is, it’s not a pizza-making business. It’s a pizza-eating business.

Hamm and Buble
John Hamm strong-arms Michael Buble in a sure-to-fail joint venture.
Moet & Chandon
Sure, Justin Timberlake got kudos for his vegan song-and-dance. But this commercial for champagne by former porn stars is over-the-top hilarious.
Taste Test
In Melissa McCarthy’s first SNL hosting gig, she’s an overenthusiastic ranch-dressing taste-tester.
Honey-Baked Ham Bake-Off
McCarthy is at it again — doing anything it takes to win the local ham bake-off.
