Congratulations, Pam Bondi! As far as we can tell, you’re the first state attorney general in history who has ever given an exclusive statement to muckraking gossip website TMZ. Then again, as someone who used to be a Fox News legal analyst, maybe you don’t have high standards about what media you’ll talk to.
TMZ is hot on the case of the 30-day jail sentence handed out to Chad Johnson by a Broward County judge who threw out his plea deal to would have kept him out of jail on charges of violating his probation after he slapped his attorney on the ass.
“Although we never condone domestic violence, this event seems to question judicial temperament, not the subject matter before the court,” Bondi told the gossip site.
And here’s Harvey Levin, the site’s editor-in-chief, playing legal analyst. To be fair, the guy does have a law degree.

Then again, he also runs a trashy, sexist site that decided to put up this immediately after talking to Bondi.
