Dwyane Wade recently got engaged to long-time girlfriend Gabrielle Union and his two sons and a nephew helped out in the adorable Christmas-time proposal. But, according to gossip reports, Wade had another son who wasn’t present. Gossip Cop and E! News reports that another woman gave birth to Wade’s third child just months ago.
“The Miami Heat star fathered the baby boy while ‘on a break’ from Gabrielle Union, to whom he became engaged last week,” reports Gossip Cop.
“A source tells E! News that Union was angry and distanced herself from Wade when she first heard the news,” adds E!. “They have since apparently reconciled, with Union all smiles and flashing her huge diamond engagement ring while watching her husband-to-be play the L.A. Lakers on Christmas Day at Staples Center.”
Entertainment Tonight adds that Wade has known the mother of his new son “for many years.”

Wade has two previous sons with his first wife Siohvaughn Funches and has since written a book about being a father. A sitcom based on the book is currently in the works.
Wade stands to be Miami’s next Dan Marino, a beloved sports star who spends his entire professional career here, but it appears that the two now have more in common than that. Earlier this year Marino admitted to fathering a lovechild back in 2005 with a CBS Sports employee.
