Serendipity 3, the Manhattan ice-cream parlor frequented by the likes of Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Oprah Winfrey, and Katie Holmes, is coming to Lincoln Road in a matter of weeks.
The restaurant, located between Lenox Avenue and Alton Road, had some intriguing signs on its windows. One invited us to look inside.
We did, and this is what we found:

décor. We walked inside and were met by a gentleman named Matt, who identified himself as a co-owner.
He said he wasn’t ready to give details about the restaurant, though he
expects it to be open in the next few weeks. No word yet whether the
SoBe outpost will serve Serendipity’s famous Golden Opulence Sundae
($1,000), five scoops of ice cream decorated with edible gold leaf. We’re betting on seeing the more pocket-friendly frozen hot chocolate
($8.95) on the menu.
With Art Basel and the holidays coming up, celebrities will need
their ice-cream fix in Miami Beach. We’re looking forward to it too.
