Forget about your parents’ stupid rock ‘n’ roll. That shit is for old people.

These days, the Fillmore is most packed for its monthly Honeymoon Series, when the room quakes with dark and violent party music for the kids. Following the South Beach concert theater’s lead, Space is selling tickets for a special Thanksgiving weekend performance by Steve Angello on the club’s rooftop Terrace. And the youth of South Florida are invited.

This (almost) all-ages rager will run from 4 to 11 p.m., and it’s open to all party people over the age of 16. There will be no alcohol sold to anybody, whether drinking age or not. Moreover, according to the event’s promoters, there won’t be liquor allowed anywhere on the premises.

So what happens when a rave goes dry? Well, Angello’s monster beats will subwoof through the predusk gold, and Miami’s young, wild beat freaks will get to fly through outer Space in a way the 21-and-over crowd that leaves at noon the next day never does — stone sober.
