Apparently the Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t too proud to admit that Miami Heat players are just more exciting than theirs.
The Heat are scheduled to visit the Target Center in Minneapolis on Saturday, December 7, and the Timberwolves are selling a tickets in the hopes that fans will get to high-five LeBron and Co.
That’s a per a tweet from ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

No one is really sure if Heat players actually know they’re supposed to be high-fiving fans during an away game, but apparently the T-Wolves are willing to take the gamble.
Of course, teams with a bit more pride would rather play before an near-empty home arena than actually encourage activity among the other teams’ fans. Then again, when the Heat come to town you’re pretty much guaranteed to attract some bandwagoners (OK, and perhaps some relocated South Floridians) to the game. Guess the team decided to swallow their pride a bit since they made this anti-Heat viral video.
Plus, considering the T-Wolves are fifth in their division and 24th so far this year for attendance, maybe it’s not such a bad plan.
Or maybe they just think a lot of their fans miss Michael Beasley.
