Yelp is throwing a party for the public, and it’s the best kind of party: free. The erstwhile bloggers and friends will be whooping it up Saturday, August 21, from 8 to 10 p.m. at the very historic and extremely brick Moore Building in the Design District. Noshes will be provided by what I assume are restaurants that have gotten good reviews on the host’s website: Maitardi, Morena Soleá, Bongos Cuban Cafe, Waxy O’Connor’s, Mr. Yum, Miss Yip, Mr. Yum & Miss Yip’s Children, Vinyl & Kai, Leather & Rope, JB Kitchen & Bar, Soyka, and Mercadito.

Desserts will be Spuntino Italian pastries and Grand Luxe Café’s “signature
